Dagmar Franolić was born in 1963 in Munich, Germany.
She lives and works in Krk since 1982. She started to work intensively on painting in 1984, and exhibits her paintings on solo exhibitions since 1989 (Punat, Krk, Rijeka, Njivice, Bakar, Baška, Munich), and since 1991 she exhibits on many group exhibitions (Krk, Chioggia – Italy, Košljun, Zagreb, Bakar, Malinska, Omišalj, Gaunting), as on the 3rd Croatian Watercolour Triennale in 2004. She also took part in many art colonies (Krk, Omišalj, Bakar, Malinska, Mali Lošinj and Vrbnik). During her career she profiled herself as a watercolour painter, but also as a painter with a drawing sense. She received a diploma at Mandrač (Volosko 1993).
