Patterns in copper

A collection of jewelry pieces created in the period from 2010 to 2017 made of silver plated and copper wire embedded with gemstones (merlinite, amethyst, unakite and malachite).

Voronoi patterns constituted of triangle nodes emerge out of the surface forming three-dimensional constructs, while in other works the structural play of the surface is built through different weave directions.

The warmth of copper is contrasted in works that form three-dimensional constructs giving it a colder feel trough usage of straight lines and combining with silver plated wire, but is given it’s appropriate flow in pieces that describe a more organic form.
