Midnight Haiku

Inspired by listening to the radio waves I found between stations of an old AM radio in 2009, I created a relief that I named Midnight Haiku. During this, I carved through the furrows in between the growth rings, darting between them and modelling with wood putty and drawing with pen and chalk. The result is a visual-tactile expression of the impression I had of the sound interpretations of the atmospheric currents.
