Dagmar Franolić
Dagmar Franolić was born in 1963 in Munich, Germany. She lives and works in Krk since 1982. She started to work intensively on painting in 1984, and exhibits her paintings on solo exhibitions since 1989 (Rijeka, Bakar, Omišalj, Njivice, Krk, Punat, Baška, Munich — Germany), and since 1991 she exhibits on many group exhibitions (Krk, Chioggia — Italy, Košljun, Zagreb, Bakar, Malinska, Omišalj, Gaunting – Germany), as on the 3rd Croatian Aquarelle Triennale in 2004. She also took part in many art colonies (Krk, Omišalj, Bakar, Malinska, Mandrač). During her career she profiled herself as a watercolour painter, but also as a painter with a drawing sense.

Lena Franolić
Lena Franolić was born in 1982 in Munich, Germany. She graduated in sculpture at The School of Applied Arts in Rijeka in year 2000 and started collage at The University of Zagreb where she got her diploma in fashion design in 2007. After collage, she co-founded The Art & Culture Laboratory in 2009 where she was active in organizing festivals and group exhibitions until 2012. She exhibited her work on numerous exhibitions in the region (Krk, Rab, Omišalj, Malinska, Šilo, Zagreb) – mainly jewellery and sculpture, but also graphics and an interactive projection (Decumanus, Krk, 2008). In 2017, she exhibited her paintings and drawings at Decumanus, later showing some of these works on various group exhibitions (Šilo, 2017; PIKTO, Zagreb, 2018; Sv. Nikola, Malinska, 2018).
